I used this service through my work benefit scheme. First appointment I booked was with someone, who wasn't even a doctor and I found that out by accident. She was 30 mins late and then called me to ask me if I really needed that appointment, or whether we could cancel, because she would be late for all her further appointments. This made me feel really bad and because I am in no shape to be assertive, I just agreed, because I needed someone to listen to me and show interest, not to look at the watch and try to end the call to save time. So then I booked second appointment with the next available (actual) doctor, and it was even worse. My appointment with dr. Sri lasted only 7 minutes instead of 20 minutes I was entitled to. I received no information, and I felt completely ignored. She didn't ask a single question outside of the generic questionnaire (allergies, pregnancy, alcohol and cigarette use etc.). The doctor showed no interest when I shared my actual symptoms. She simply issued a referral to a specialist I didn't feel was correct and she ended the call. Dealing with a long-term, undiagnosed condition that prevents me from functioning and working, is already difficult, but my experience with Dr. Sri was the most dismissive and humiliating experience I have had with a doctor. It felt as though I was interrupting her or even bothering her. Let me add, I did see that specialist she referred me to, and as expected no help was provided, because my issues are outside of his area of expertise. So now I guess I should go back to DCA again and start over? No, thank you. I will never use that service again.
Read on Google ↗I was able to get a virtual appointment the same day in fact within an hour of accessing the service. Preparing for the appointment was logical and easy to follow. The system is seamless and communicates excellently. The Clinical Nurse Specialist who dealt with me was very professional and understanding. I was very comfortable in discussing my issue with her. Following my virtual appointment a referral was made and this is now in process.
Read on Google ↗I was unable to get an appointment at my own GP and for peace of mind contacted Doctor Care Anywhere. The whole process was very easy and I was contacted the same day. The Doctor was lovely and I didn’t feel rushed through the appointment and was very happy with the outcome. I would definitely use the service again.
Read on Google ↗I had some problems with the typical NHS. They gave me a 12 hour window where they offered to call and straight up didn't. Wild experience (USA could never). That's when I knew I needed to supplement - and these guys are the best. Super friendly and accommodating. I really appreciate the service they provide.
Read on Google ↗Last month, I tried repeatedly to get an NHS GP appointment but found it extremely difficult, even as my condition was getting worse and things started to feel more critical. At that point I decided to use my AXA Health cover and booked a virtual GP appointment through Doctor Care Anywhere. The GP listened carefully to my concerns, took my symptoms seriously, clearly explained what I should do next, and arranged a referral to a private specialist. I’m very grateful for how quickly I was able to be seen and how seamless the whole process was, especially compared with the long waits I’d been facing elsewhere. Based on this experience I would definitely recommend AXA Health and Doctor Care Anywhere to anyone who needs timely access to a GP and onward specialist care.
