I had a consultation at Amara Clinic with Miss Henderson, and I cannot praise her highly enough. She was absolutely amazing; professional, knowledgeable, caring, and took the time to listen and explain everything clearly. I felt reassured and very well looked after throughout the consultation. Unfortunately, my follow-up experience has been disappointing. Nearly a month later, I am still waiting for my clinic letter to be sent to my GP. This delay is now affecting my ongoing care, as my GP is unable to arrange the necessary blood tests to check whether the treatment is working until they have received the letter. This could potentially mean my next appointment with Miss Henderson has to be delayed unless I am able to arrange it within the appropriate timeframe. I have also experienced issues with the payment systems, which do not appear to work reliably and have added unnecessary frustration to the process. I would like to make clear that my rating is not a reflection of Miss Henderson, who was exceptional, but rather the administrative issues I have experienced following my consultation. The quality of care I received from her was excellent; however, the delays in communication and administrative processes have had a real impact on my ongoing treatment. I hope the clinic can address these issues, as improving these areas would bring the overall experience in line with the high standard of clinical care provided. Made a formal complaint and they have extended the reply deadline three times now. Been waiting months for full response. They also managed to leak another patients full personal details to me in an accidental text message. Shocking administrative practices.

Echo other one star reviews on here and wish I had read them before spending my hard earned money on this clinic. Baffling that someone who comes across as professional as Dr. Henderson is running a clinic with this level of unprofessionalism. Like many others, haven't received my prescription after 47 days since the payment, next to no communication from the prescription service, no explanation, apology or refund offered. Like others, I'm beginning to wonder if this clinic is a scam. Will be raising my concerns with BUPA as I chose to consult with Dr. Henderson following the high reviews and rating on BUPA's directory.

We paid £470 for a phone consultation with a very caring and professional consultant who provided my partner advice and prescribed medication which we paid another £145 the next day ,this was 7 weeks ago ,we have still not recieved the medication, contact with this clinic is impossible unless you email Miss Henderson Direct. We recieved a call from the pharmacy the same day we emailed Miss Henderson expressing out extreme dissatisfaction with the very poor service ,the pharmacy then advised us that Amara Clinic had not paid them for the medication we already paid for and demanded we pay again ,emailed Miss Henderson again and to date no reposnse! We have paid £615.00 to this clinic and not had any help other than being offered a further consultation for free ! We are making representations to KIMs Hospital,BUPa and other parties to see if this clinic is actually legitimate and approved by anyone.Extremely dissapointing and frustrating ,we still have not had any medication delivered or further contact from this clinic.

I’m giving one star only as the consultant I saw was excellent, however the service provided as a whole has been extremely poor. I paid to go private for help with hormones in the hope I could get HRT and feel less awful, but despite paying for a private prescription in July, the medication has never materialised. It almost feels like a scam except logically I know it can’t be. I’ve emailed, called, been in frequent contact and despite an assurance three weeks ago that the medication system was being looked into as a priority, communication has been infrequent and evasive. The clinic is quick to book in with consultants, but seemingly not to deliver on anything else. I feel like I’ve been preyed upon at a time when I’m feeling ill and vulnerable. I would categorically not recommend this clinic, unless consultant care and no medication is all you need.

I recently had a follow up appointment with Ann Henderson, once again, a superb service. I was given detailed advice and help on any query I raised. So informative and the treatment so far has left me feeling so much happier, healthier and i am finally in control of my menopause (rather than it controlling me). Any ladies struggling, this is truly a great service at the Amara Clinic. I fully recommend Ann Henderson.
