I first consulted with the London Hormone Clinic in 2020, I was 44 at the time and had been suffering with symptoms for some years but told by GP’s I was too young for menopause. I was at my wits end and felt I had no choice but to pay for private treatment. I had a video call with Dr Toledano as it was lockdown and she was amazing. She knew without seeing me (in person) or any tests that I was indeed perimenopausal (and also grieving). A treatment plan was put in place and in time I began to feel better, less rage and better sleep. I have an annual review and treatment has been adjusted as necessary over the years. I have recommended the clinic to many friends and will continue to do so as it’s honestly worth the money to be heard and understood. I had such a poor experience with the NHS.

This clinic completely changed my life! I arrived having not had periods for 8 years and feeling completely hopeless- but was quickly diagnosed with PCOS/PMOS by my amazing doctor Georgina who was supportive, caring and strategic from the start. Around a year later after bespoke treatment I have regular periods now!- and much better energy, and know how to manage my condition thanks to the amazing clinic. If you are a woman feeling let down by your health issues, or lost in terms of your cycle, this clinic is the place to go and was such a relief and lifeline for me after years of confusion and simply being told to go on ‘the pill.’ I often have questions or queries and these are also always picked up quickly which is very helpful, so thanks to all the staff- especially Yen for forwarding my many emails! I’ve been a patient at the clinic for many years, and Dr Toledano and her team have taken great care of my hormonal concerns. The approach is a very clinical one too, considering the findings of blood tests in depth. For a fellow clinician this provides additional reassurance. My experience with LHC has been fantastic. Dr. Georgina has listened and understood all my concerns with my thyroid and menopausal issues. I finally feel that I am returning to my former self after expert guidance and carefully talked through medication after years of not feeling quite right. Always available if needing advice or to query anything between appointments, or Yen is amazing! Would highly recommend if needing expert advice on any hormonal issues, as was the case for me!
