I suddenly discovered a lump and saw Dr Thomas yesterday, as I was very worried about it and wanted to be seen quickly. I only booked the appointment the day before! I have never been to the Maxwell Practice before. It’s a lovely, bright, clean and welcoming environment and right in the centre of Henley. Dr Thomas was wonderful - exactly how a Doctor should be. So kind, caring, thorough and very easy to talk to. He was very good at listening to my concerns and was able to quickly put my mind at rest. He took all the time in the world and I didn’t feel rushed. Dr Thomas gave me practical advice and explained everything in a way that I could understand. I had the referral letter for an ultrasound scan 10 minutes after leaving! Dr Thomas also gave me the opportunity to talk to him about anything else that was worrying me about my health. I genuinely believe that he was interested in my overall well-being, rather than just the problem that I had gone to see him about. I had my scan today and fortunately, nothing serious was found. I highly recommend Dr Thomas and the Maxwell Practice. Thank you so much!

Read on Google ↗Passing through Henley-on-Thames, on 15 June 2026, I felt unwell and was concerned about fitness to fly next day. I made a same-day appointment at The Maxwell Practice to see Dr Goldie-Brammer who performed appropriate tests and directed me to A & E where I was admitted. Next morning a pacemaker was fitted and I was told the ECG showed a complete heart block. Seven days later I am now recovering and very thankful to have been able to make a same-day appointment at The Maxwell Clinic where every aspect of the service was excellent.
