An Exceptional Experience with The London General Practice We recently had an exceptional experience with The London General Practice (LGP) during our stay at The Dorchester. When our one-year-old baby developed a high fever, we contacted LGP through the hotel, and Dr. Maher Al Shakarchi came directly to our suite to examine our baby and provide the appropriate medication and care. From the very beginning, Dr. Maher was outstanding—not only in his medical expertise, but also in his calm, reassuring manner and genuine care for our child. He took the time to carefully assess the situation, explain everything clearly, and ensure that we felt completely comfortable with the treatment. What impressed us even more was the care that continued after the visit. Dr. Maher has been incredibly responsive to every call and WhatsApp message, regardless of the time we contacted him. That level of accessibility, professionalism, and personal attention is truly rare. We are extremely grateful to Dr. Maher and the entire team at The London General Practice for taking such excellent care of our baby when we needed it most. After this experience, there is no question that The London General Practice will be our first and only choice whenever we need medical care while in London. A truly exceptional doctor and an outstanding medical practice. Highly recommended.

We told them on the phone what the issue was -- a very simple procedure to correct "nursemaid's elbow" for our 18-month old -- and were told it would be no problem. The doctor made a house-call and not only was he unable to perform this simple procedure, he immediately pulled out his credit card machine and asked for 550 pounds, then left our daughter in needless pain for hours before referring us to a nurse at a different hospital's emergency room some miles away. She seamlessly performed the procedure: it took her two minutes and our daughter was perfectly fine immediately after. The London General Practice refused to acknowledge our complaint and would not agree to a refund. AVOID THESE CHARLATANS.
