My wife started well with this place. Then she got rid of staff and it went downhill quick. No appointments available then can only do silly times when she was working as a teacher. My wife booked over half term to suite. This was cancelled so that rachel could go on annual leave. But then didn't offer a time outside of my wife's working day. In an appointment rachel was literally reading for the first time my wife's notes and history. £200 appointment and you come into the meeting without reading the notes!!. Not worth the money
Read on Google ↗Been with the clinic for quite some time so a good few thousands spent .Taking 500mg of progesterone everyday to help control severe bleeding from adenomyosis endometriosis and fibroids . On the list for urgent hysterectomy. I believe too many patients have now been taken on at this clinic as there is not enough appointments or telephone replies I am currently left with NO medication this weekend and been put at risk , I have very bad migraines and now concerned that this weekend I could suddenly haemorrhage due to sudden hormone drop . I Called the clinic at least 2 weeks before running out to get an appointment or an answer for a repeat prescription as I will be called any day to hospital for hysterectomy . Clinic is aware of this . No answers and difficulties on getting an answer or replies for 10 days during October until I emailed to be then told no appointments until end of November a month latter . I said I’m happy to have appointment but I’ve been advised I should not abruptly stop the high dose progesterone I’m taking . Only being given one month supply at a time when I used to have 3 months . So costing more each time for it being written . It takes the pharmacy at least 7-10 working days to make compounded medication and deliver .I then get told we will give you 2 weeks medication so I said that isn’t acceptable as I would then be without medication again after the appointment as it takes another 7-10 working days to receive . I was then told a blood test is needed before this appointment at £350 which is fine but how can I have a correct reading if I currently have NO medication to take . From 500mg to 0mg This Really is not acceptable .Miscommunications between reception to dr have declined , it is unfair to leave patients with awful side effects from abruptly having No medication in which I called in plenty of time . Especially when paying these costs .Unfortunately I’m now left looking for another clinic as being left a 3rd time with huge drop in hormone is not responsible or acceptable in a case like mine .Even the roseway labs advised I should not have been put in this position by a prescriber . Currently left feeling extremely unwell I will also attach the last consultation letter with what was actually agreed where it states appointment and bloods to be done AFTER the hysterectomy (which was unfortunately cancelled due to my father passing away ).Letter also states to continue progesterone until that hysterectomy happens. To tell me appointment is needed when I have one days medication left isn’t acceptable especially when there is no appointments for a month after trying to call for nearly 2 weeks previous. Suggesting goodwill gesture sounds like it was for free ,It certainly wasn’t as I was paying £155 for one months prescription that was just for the progesterone and paid to write it . I have raised quite a substantial issues Instead of addressing and fixing those issues with the lack of appointments for existing patients and difficulties getting through on the telephone ,the blame has been shifted to paying patients .I Made it clear I was happy to make appointment at £200 to discuss nothing as I was still awaiting operation but I was not happy to be left a 3rd time with another 7-10 day gap if I still didn’t get the operation date .Unfortunately urgent on the nhs has run into extra months and I certainly didn’t expect to be let down as a private paying patient either .At no point was their any discussion of an appointment and bloods to be done before the hysterectomy because I would have made that immediately knowing the risks of stopping . I was informed over the telephone when I had only one days medication left . I can also post the email that states sorry I still have no reply as of yet .
Read on Google ↗I have started my consultations with Dr. Jones last October, and I couldn't be happier with my experience. She is incredibly nice and takes the time to answer all of my concerns thoroughly. Since starting my treatment with her, my symptoms have improved significantly. I am very satisfied with the care I have received and highly recommend Dr. Jones to anyone considering BHRT.
Read on Google ↗I have had two consultations with Dr Rachel Jones so far, but I already feel confident of her ability to help me find an effective solution to my hormone imbalance. Right from the start, she put me at ease with her calm, reassuring and kind manner. She is extremely knowledgeable and explained everything very well. I have had a couple of false starts on my route to finding proper treatment for my symptoms, but now I feel I am on the right path. I thoroughly recommend her.
Read on Google ↗I would absolutely recommend Dr Rachel Jones based on my personal experience. From the outset Dr Jones was friendly, understanding and immensely knowledgeable. It's refreshing speaking to a specialist that understands what you are going through. If only everyone knew how Dr Jones and her practice can help there would be less women out there struggling with the menopause. Thank you so much. Edited March 24: I'm now 6 months into my prescription and the treatment has been going from strength to strength. My overall physical health, mental health and symptoms have improved and continues to improve with each review. Thank you so much I'll be forever grateful.
